This classic 78th Infantry Division battle and operations route map charts the journey of the division through Europe during World War II. The 78th Infantry Division arrived in England on 26 October 1944 and landed in France on 22 November. The division spent 125 days in combat on the Western front during World War II and fought in the Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace and Central Europe campaigns.
