42nd Infantry Division Campaign Map
This print is a beautiful and colorful World War II route map of the 42nd Infantry Division’s advance from France through Germany to Austria. The 42nd infantry division, known as the Rainbow division, arrived in France at Marseilles on December 8, 1944. The division spent 106 days in combat on the Western front during World War II and fought in the Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns.
This reproduction print was crafted from the original and classic map created in 1945. The original was scanned on a large-format, flatbed, high-resolution scanner and precisely restored by hand. The map is printed on professional-grade matte paper using vivid, archival inks. It is carefully hand-rolled in tissue paper or plastic sleeves and mailed in heavy-duty tubes or boxes.
